Alyssa Palmqvist is from Northfield, Minnesota and has previously resided in Qatar, Morocco and Cambodia.  Her work is largely inspired from these locations in addition to the surrounding regions. She completed her MSc in Anthropology and Development at the London School of Economics in 2018 and currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
